PACKAGES PLEASE!
Because of the necessary rigors of training, the
need for a controlled diet, and a heightened security posture
please do not send anything to your recruit other than letters.
Care packages, cookies, and/or candy will be delivered to your
recruit but your recruit will not be allowed to keep or consume
the contents. All food items must be thrown away upon opening,
and all contraband will be confiscated.
Be advised that all photos sent to your recruit
will be seen by the training staff and evaluated for their appropriateness.
Your recruit is unauthorized to possess pornographic, lewd,
or offensive photographs. Your recruit is also unauthorized
to possess candy, tobacco, alcoholic beverages, any medications
not prescribed by the RTC medical staff, and any item not appropriate
for military training.
