New instructors and RDCs will need the following items when reporting to Recruit Training Command:Original orders Full compliment of uniforms to include dress and working. The only authorized uniforms are CNT or poly blend (poly/wool) material. Thin ribbons and anodized warfare devices are authorized and add to uniform appearance. Each student will need 3 short sleeve yellow PT shirts and 2 pairs of blue “Navy” pt shorts. Expect to purchase additional uniform items upon arrival. On average RDCs need 4-6 inspection-ready sets of working blues and working whites; an inspection-ready set of dress blues and dress whites; and 2-4 clean, patch-free sets of coveralls. Uniform appearance at all times must be immaculate! RTC Square Knot sticker available from the badge and pass office in building 6130 near the NAVSTA Main Gate, right off Sheridan Rd. Ensure you have your driver’s license, vehicle registration, proof of insurance, and a copy of your orders with you. |
