Musician First Class Lucas Jon Pawloski is a native of Sarasota, Florida. He enlisted in the United States Army on August 14, 1996. After graduating Basic Training, he attended the Armed Forces School of Music in Little Creek, VA and then served in the 434th Army Band in Augusta, GA and the 62nd Army Band in Ft. Bliss, TX.
MU1 Pawloski transferred into the Navy in March 2001. After joining the Navy, he was first stationed with Navy Band Great Lakes and the Allied Forces Band in Naples, Italy. MU1 Pawloski returned to Navy Band Great Lakes in June 2009 where he currently serves as trumpet instrumentalist for the Wind Ensemble, Ceremonial Band, Parade Band, and the contemporary music ensemble "Horizon." He also serves as Command Fitness Leader, Command Managed Equal Opportunity Advisor, and Unit Leader for "Horizon."
Petty Officer Pawloski has received the following awards: Army Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal (three awards), National Defense Service Medal (two awards), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and Overseas Service Ribbon.
