Naval
Service Training Command transforms volunteers into Naval Service
Professionals. We instill and reinforce enduring core values, knowledge,
and skills to prepare them for the fleet.
Mission
Statement: To exercise command over and coordinate efforts of assigned
subordinate activities in conducting officer accession education
and training and enlisted recruit training, and perform such other
functions and tasks assigned by higher authority.

Machinist’s
Mate 1st Class Richard Lewis, of Batesville, Ark., leads recruits
from Division 253 in fighting a fire at Recruit Training Command’s
fire fighting school. Division 253 is the third Special Warfare
Operations division to go through recruit training. The division
is made up of rating candidates for special warfare operator, special
warfare boat operator, Navy diver and explosive ordnance disposal
(EOD). It is part of a new Navy and Special Warfare Command initiative
to grow the ranks of SEALs, littoral and riverboat squadrons, dive

Sailor's Creed posters |
These
Sailor's Creed posters have been mailed to fleet and shore commands,
mainly by way of CMCs. The Sailor's Creed is being taught and recited
in all accession programs under the auspices of Naval Service Training
